We know who we are...
We don't really know what we're doing, but at least we're doing something.
...but do YOU know who we are?
We are a by student, for students Art Magazine intended to uplift and support artists under 18. We know how hostile adult spaces can be, so we're here to make our own. We aren't always gonna get it right, but we'll always keep trying.
Our mission is to release our magazine, "The Amateur" every month to a wide audience. We accept submissions from students ages 12-18 across Ireland, but we have a focus on Cork for now.
Anti Profit
We aren’t making money from this, and we never will. We are here for the people, by the people. Any products that we put out go to funding our website and any funds after that will go into creating physical copies of our magazine.
Anti Social Media
We recognise how predatory social media has been to our age demographic, but also to artists in general. Because of that, we pledge not to use social media platforms that we deem dangerous, and have instead opted to put ourselves on Bluesky. You can find our socials below.
Anti AI
We have seen the effects AI has had on the art industry and we are done with it. You can trust us to be completely transparent about our processes- know that the day we implement AI is the day we've died.
Submit to our Magazine - We're always accepting
Whether you've made some cool art, have a local event you want to advertise, or just wrote a really awesome poem, we've got you.
Art Submissions
We'll feature YOUR art in OUR magazine, how cool is that?
Local Advertising
Do you have a club or an event or something else along those lines? Submit a cool poster and we'll feature it to spread the word!

We don't have much to show- that's kinda what happens
when you've just started- but we have loads of spirit.
Meet our Team
Hi, we're a bunch of nobodies trying to be somebody. We have something like 2 years of experience combined, but give us a chance. You might find yourself having fun by the end of it.
